theoelections has no accounts and nothing to sign in to. what you type in the find box or the catalogue’s search stays in the page: it searches files the page has already loaded.

the pages load two outside services. Google Analytics counts visits and pages. Microsoft Clarity records how a page is used, such as what is tapped and how far it is scrolled; the find box is masked from it. each may set cookies of its own. the site sets none, and it carries no advertising.

your browser keeps copies of the map files on your own device, so that a later visit does not download them again. they are sent nowhere.
